Antonio Carlos de Faria

The director of Rio de Janeiro’s CDN office is a journalist with a degree from the Casper Líbero Foundation (São Paulo). He also has a degree in Social Sciences from USP. He was editing secretary for the Folha de São Paulo newspaper at its Rio branch, in addition to having headed that newspaper’s teams in Brasilia and in São Paulo. Moreover, he was one of the founders of Agência Sebrae de Notícias (a news agency) – where he acted as a special reporter – and worked at Rio’s Rádio Bandeirantes, where he headed a program that became a finalist in the CEF Journalism Awards. In the area of Corporate Communication, his experiences include stints as press advisor at both the BNDE and Firjan.

Beth Alves

CDN’s Director of Services in Brasília, Ms. Alves has a degree in Journalism, Radio and TV. She has worked as editor of Jornal da Feira, and did stints at the Bandeirantes, Cultura and Manchete TV networks, and also at the Globo and and Bandeirantes radio stations. She was also press advisor for Basf and Nestlé.

Bia Fovitzky

The director of CDN Corporate Communication for the area of Communication Consultancy has a degree in Advertising and Journalism, and was a reporter and editor for the Gazeta Mercantil, Balanço Financeiro and Isto É publications. She was responsible for structuring Gazeta Mercantil’s branch office in Fortaleza, and a contributor to the Exame and Tendência magazines.

Carlos Muanis

The director of Flecha de Lima Institutional Relations is a sociologist with a degree from São Paulo’s Fundação Escola de Sociologia e Política. He has worked as political coordinator in different State Departments for the Government of the State of São Paulo and for the City of São Paulo. He was a special advisor to the vice-governor and parliamentary advisor at the Chamber of Deputies, in addition to serving as ANJ’s executive secretary in Brasilia.

Carlos Cavalcanti Filho

CDN Interactive’s executive director, Mr. Cavalcanti has a degree in Social Communication and a post-graduation degree in Information Technology. For over 10 years now, he has occupied himself with the introduction of brands into the online media, handling big-name players like Walmart, McDonald’s and Daimler Chrysler.

Cristina Panella

CDN Studies and Research’s general director has a Doctor’s degree in Sociology from EHESS, and a Master’s from the Sorbonne. She has been a consultant for Datafolha, research manager for the Folha Metropolitana, MCI Comunicação and Ahead Publicidade publications.

Elisabete Junqueira

Ms. Junqueira is the director of CDN Events and CDN Advertising. She is an advertising expert and a business administrator with a degree from UFBA, and was, for a time, active in the area of Business for the Gazeta Mercantil and Valor Econômico trade publications. She implemented Gazeta Mercantil’s branch office in Argentina.

Eloisa Almeida

CDN Analysis and Trends’ Executive Director has been with the agency since 2001. She has a degree in Journalism and Publicity and Advertising, and has worked as editor of International Economics at the DCI, and as International, Economy and Cities editor at Diário de São Paulo. At the Estadão, she worked as producer for International editing. Some of her work has been published in several newspapers and magazines of the sector.

Fernando Pesciotta

A CDN director in the area of Editorial Analysis, Mr. Pesciotta was a reporter, chief or reporting and sub-editor of Economy for the Estado de São Paulo newspaper, and a member of the team in charge of economy news for TV Globo’s Jornal da Globo daily news telecast.

Jô Ristow

The director of CDN Corporate Communication for the area of Communication Consultancy is a journalist with a degree from UFSC, and gained much of her experience while working for the Folha da Tarde and Jornal da Tarde newspapers, and for Visão magazine. She was an assistant editor for Brasil em Foco (Brasil in Focus), a data bank that stores information on the country, and is an initiative by the Ministry of Foreign Relations, which is sponsored the PNUD/ UN. She has also been a contributor to the Estado de São Paulo newspaper and to different magazines published by Editora Abril.

Ivonne Olmo

Ms. Olmo has a degree in Publicity and Advertising from FIAM, and an MBA in Marketing from FGV. A large part of her professional experience was obtained in major-league advertising agencies such as ALMAP, LAge & Magy, DM9 and 100% Design

Lalá Aranha

The director of Public Relations and Special Projects has a degree in Public Relations and Advertising, and enjoys over 20 years’ experience in the area of Corporate Marketing. She was president of the department of Public Relations at Ogilvy Brasil, and a founding partner of the Calla Assumpção Publicidade agency.

Lúcia Caetano

CDN Corporate Communication’s director for the area of Communication Consultancy is a journalist with a degree from ECA-USP. She was a communication coordinator for São Paulo’s Commercial Association, a reporter for the Diário do Comércio daily and served a stint at TV Bandeirantes as a reporter, “pauteira” (person in charge of the items on a program’s agenda) and Economy and Agriculture editor.

Luiz Antonio Flecha de Lima

The director of the Flecha de Lima division has a degree in Business Administration from FAAP, and over 10 years’ experience in the area of government relations and National Congress affairs. At the ABN AMBO Bank, he was in charge of relationships and services concerning the government of the State of Bahia. He was on the team that handled the Federal Government of Brazil and several public companies, like Infraero, Serpro and the official pension funds.

Marília Stabile

Ms. Stabile is the director of CDN Analysis and Trends. She is a journalist with a degree from FAAP, and a psychologist with a degree from Instituto Sedes Sapientiae. She has had experience as special reporter, chief of the agenda and national macro-economy editor for Gazeta Mercantil, in addition to being editor and hostess of a TV Bandeirantes’ and Gazeta Mercantil’s show titled “Crítica e Autocrítica” (Criticism and Self-criticism). Moreover, she worked as editor and hostess of TV Gazeta’s “Dinheiro Vivo” (Live Money), as director of the Dinheiro Vivo agency, and as special reporter and commentator in the area of micro-economy and consumer relations for the Globo radio and television network.

Matías M. Molina

The director of CDN Analysis and Trends spent 29 years with Gazeta Mercantil, where he was the group’s editorial director, the newspaper’s editor-in-chief, its London correspondent, its Finance and International editor and general secretary. He was also the economy editor for Folha de São Paulo.

Milton Bernard

CDN Design’s director enjoys 30 years’ experience in strategic planning for communication, advertising and design. In the area of advertising and promotions, his experience includes stints with Grupo CBD and Alpargatas, for which he implemented the project for sponsorship by Tooper of the Brazilian soccer team. He founded the first promotions agency in Brazil – PPA – and served as art, planning and creative director at the MPM, Leo Burnett, SGB, CVS and W/Brasil agencies.

Olympio Barbanti Júnior

The director of CDN Development and Sustainability was once a reporter and assistant editor of the Folha the São Paulo newspaper. He has a Master’s degree from the University of Wales and a Doctor’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, both closely related to the area of development sustainability. Since 1999, he has provided consultancy on sustainability and conflict management for several private companies, for the Brazilian Government and for the World Bank, as well as for development and sustainability agencies in the United States (USAID) and Germany (GTZ).

Oswaldo Gouvêa de Oliveira Neto

Oswaldo is an economist with large experience in treasury and credit, gained while working for multinational companies and financial institutions such as Banco Nacional, Cargill Agrícola, Cerâmica Portobello, Grupo Saint Gobain and Fináustria Financiamentos (BBA Creditanstalt Group). For over 10 years, he has dedicated himself to ‘radiumsystems.com’, a company that is part of CDN Network Articulation.

Renato Nunes Ganhito

Director of Special Projects, Mr. Ganhito is a professional with 25 years’ experience in corporate communication. He has worked at Escritório Central de Comunicação, Guimarães Profissionais de Marketing, PUC-SP and Enterpa Engenharia. At CDN, he has led over 100 projects for heavy-weight clients like TV Cultura, Odebrecht, Perdigão, Pfizer, Amil, Roche, the City of Vitória, Arcelor Mittal, among other large corporations.

Rosana Miziara

CDN’s Culture director is a historian with a Master’s and a Doctor’s degree in Social History and also a practicing university professor. She has been cultural coordinator for Central São Paulo’s Municipal Department of Culture, and project coordinator at the Museu da Pessoa (People’s Museum), where she developed projects for large corporations like Cia. Vale, Petrobras, SESC and Banco do Brasil, among others.
