João Rodarte
Founder and president of Grupo CDN, Mr. Rodarte is a journalist with a degree from ECA-USP. He is a member of Aberje’s Consulting Council and of AMCHAM’s Business Affairs Committee. During Governor Franco Montoro’s term of office he worked as director of São Paulo’s Communication and Culture Departments, and headed the advisory committee of Senator Fernando Henrique Cardoso from 1984 to1987. Also, he was the founder of Abracom, and its first president.
Cláudio Pereira
Vice-president Cláudio Pereira is the agency’s Finance, Administration and Management consultant, and a strategist in the areas of Communication and Advertising, in addition to being in charge of projects for television. He is also an executive director for Intervídeo Comunicações.
Andrew Greenlees
Vice-president Andrew Greenlees is in charge of the supervision and strategic planning of CDN’s Communication Consultancy accounts. He worked as a politics editor and correspondent for the Folha de São Paulo newspaper in Washington D.C. He also acted as a communication advisor for the State of São Paulo’s Chamber of Deputies and the state’s Economic Development Department. He is currently Abracom’s director for Institutional Affairs.
Helio Maçol
Vice-president Helio Maçol is in charge of CDN’s New Business area. With a degree in Civil Engineering and specialization in Financial and Marketing Administration from FGV-Rio de Janeiro, he has gained experience in the areas of finance, planning and marketing by working for several Brazilian and international companies. In the last few years, he has held the position of president of Klöckner Pentaplast for all of Latin America.
Inácio Muzzi
Vice-president Inácio Muzzi has headed CDN’s Brasília office since 2001. He owns a degree in Journalism from PUC-MG, and has worked as coordinator of social communication for the Ministries of Development and Planning in the country’s capital. He has also directed communication work for the “Brasil em Ação” (Brazil in Action), “Avança Brasil” (Forward Brazil) and “Alvorada” (Dawn) programs, and worked as an advisor in communication at the Chamber of Deputies. He was also employed in the editing rooms of the Folha de S. Paulo, O Estado de S. Paulo, Jornal do Brasil, O Globo and Estado de Minas newspapers and IstoÉ and IstoÉ/Senhor magazines.
Marcelo Pontes
Vice-president Marcelo Pontes was once the editing director of Jornal do Brasil, its political editor, and also the same newspaper’s director at its São Paulo and Brasilia subsidiaries, in addition to being in charge of the Informe J and Coluna do Castello syndicated columns. He also enjoyed a stint as reporter for the O Globo, Veja and O Povo (Ceará) publications. He was awarded the “Grande Premio Libero Badoró” for Journalism in 1991. Moreover, he worked as a special press advisor for the Finance Minister from 1999 to 2002.
Yara Peres
Vice-president Yara Peres is responsible for the supervision of accounts and for CDN’s Training area. With a degree in Journalism and Advertising, she headed the editing room of Radio Canada International in Montreal, worked for several of Editora Abril’s magazines and directed radio and TV news programs. Being a Communication Consultant, she authored one of the chapters of the book titled “Comunicação Interna- A Força das Empresas” – Volume 2 , 2005 (Internal Communication – The Strength of the Companies), and keeps an Internet website, www.blogdayara.com.br – where she deals with matters related to Corporate Communication, and discusses use-of-media trends.
